It’s looking like a wild weekend ahead with a big blizzard coming! Temperatures are dropping quickly and we’re expecting heavy snow and high winds for the next three days. I’m protecting my trees by moving them into the greenhouse and polyhouse, and I’m worried the roof of the polyhouse might not be able to handle the snow load. I’m also doing some snow removal and trying to keep the snow off the garage roof. It’s going to be a lot of work but I’ll keep you updated!
I’ve got a lot of work to do so I’m going to keep busy. I’m bringing in the heaviest trees first and then I’ll work my way to the lighter ones. I’m also moving some of my boxwoods from the cold greenhouse to the warmer one. I’ve got to unfreeze the door before I can bring everything in! I’m also trying to keep the snow off the roofs of the greenhouse and the garage. It’s very Christmassy out here and the trees look beautiful in the snow. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of exercise with all this snow removal over the next few days. That’s it for now, so stay tuned for updates on the blizzard!
