I'm very fond of Alpine plants because They are miniature plants in their own Right and it is very similar in some Ways to bonsai There is a beautiful Alpine house at Wesley and I'm going to take some videos Of all the beautiful flowers that are in Bloom in there and I won't make any Commentary because I want you to just Admire the plants for what they are and This is the Alpine house with some Beautiful flowers And I will just leave you to read this And all the signs are also in brayer And outside the Alpine house there is This lovely planting which is called the Crevice Garden And I didn't know Until the sign was put up that this type Of crevice Garden was Designed by a world famous gentleman I Can't pronounce his name and was made About 13 years ago And you can see how it's made It's made by putting these natural flat Pieces of stone So you can find flat pieces of rock like This which is normally used for like Crazy Paving or whatever and if you just Place them and plant it like a mountain Landscape and in between the cracks of The Bits of Paving or the flat Stones soil Is put in there and little plants are
Put in it and this is ideal for these Rock plants What a beautiful Display here Look at it absolutely beautiful And in Bonsai we use rocks like this so This is an idea that Bonsai people can Also use for displaying their Bonsai Using pieces of rock I've seen it done I've done myself in India where I put Two or three pieces of sled together and Bolted it together with an iron bar And you can make a pot That whole soil for planting little Plants So I've shown this before but it's worth Showing again And here is another instance where Simply roof tiles are used look at it Just roof tiles are put on edge And little bits of soil placed in it and Little Alpine plants are grown in it how Clever is that So I hope you enjoyed this little tour Of the Alpine section And that ends my visit today at Wesley But we don't really Thank you Foreign Thank you Foreign Foreign [Music] Foreign
